Accounts on Langbehn p.485.meeting of Donovan, Menzies and Canaris at Santander p.486 WS knew of Canaris contacts with Dulles, p.510 WS contact with Max von Hohenlohe and Langbehn, p.515 Lagbehn knew that Donanyi’s phoene and mail was monitored and that he was tailed in the streets.
Only weak on the Tukhachevsky Affair p.248ff. Hoehn missed the documents used for Alexandrov’s book on this subject. However this book is of an outstanding quality.

This is an essential and trustworthy source for being a sort of Canaris diary dictated along the war to his adjutant in the Abwehr, Erwin Lahousen. The book also supplies Groscurth diary transcripts.
