***...on portrait est sur le site de l'Ordre
Yes, Jacques I know this site. :-)
***On peut penser que la guerre lui a fait perdre la foi***
Who knows... But it must have been very painful for him. His family in Slovenia was going through some very hard times during the war. In early 1942 the Yugoslav partisans respectively their communist security service (VOS) executed his father in his house in front of the eyes of his younger brothers and mother. Ironically, the executioner got in his house disguised as a priest which seeks an audience with mr Natlacen. It must have been hard for him indeed hearing this news about his father's execution in far away land of Eritrea or North Africa. Maybe just as a note of interest: the first civilian hostage executed by the Italian occupation forces in Ljubljana Province (Provincia di Lubiana) was in fact a a young French citizen. :-)
***Je vais chercher si j'ai quelques détails supplémentaires à son sujet.***
Please. I would very appreciate this. I am collecting any details you may find on him.- From Hugh McLeave's book about the Foreign Legion I have already found one small notice about him: several days before his death Colonel Amilakwari visited him in a hospital in Alexandria.
Amicalement,
Klemen *** / *** |
