Hm, this is weird. From what I have understood he was quite a celebrity in the 13e D.B.L.E., so he should be mentioned in any books at least in the Italian Campaign chapter, where he distinguished himself under enemy fire and because of that later received the medals.

When exactly was written the book 1061 compagnons by J.C. Notin? I think he did not receive his compagnon until mid-1990s, so this could be the reason why is he not mentioned in the book. Please keep looking if you can. I am "tres" interested in him and his career in the Legion.
